Fred Heuvel-PGA Teaching Professional
Fred began his Golf career in 1963 as an assistant professional in Williamsburg VA. After two years of service in the the Army, he taught the game and managed three Army golf facilities until retiring as the Director of Golf at Fort Meade MD. Fred became a member of the PGA of America in 1983. He has many years of experience teaching all aspects of the great game of golf, from group clinic’s, to individual and playing lessons. He has taught all caliber of players from beginners to professionals and in all age ranges. Fred has competed in numerous section and regional PGA professional events and has also attended numerous PGA seminars on Golf instruction and club fitting.
Fred teaches strong basic fundamentals, grip, stance, alignment, aim and balance to build a sound lasting golf swing for all levels of players, with an emphasis on scoring and enjoying the game. Sound communications and physical preparation are also stressed for consistent improvement and enjoyment of the game.
